POST GRADUATE
COURSE IN ALTERNATIVE MEDICINES- M.D. (A.M.)
ELIGIBILITY
M.B.B.S., D.M.S., D.H.M.S., B.A.M.S.,
B.U.M.S., N.D., D.O. etc. degree holders.
Or
Those who have
passed bachelor certification courses of our Institute or those who
have passed degree courses such as B.A.S.M., M.B.B.S.(Bio)/ B.M.B.S.,
M.B.E.H. etc from any authentic institution
Or
*Practitioners/Research workers with a minimum of 10 years experience
(minimum basic qualification is exempted).
DURATION :
One
Year.
SUBJECTS
The course covers five subjects
including the History and Philosophy of Alternative Medicines and four
alternative therapies of the student's choice.
The
Medium of Instruction
is English.
EXAMINATION
The student is allowed a
certain amount of time to study the lessons following which question
papers on the five subjects are mailed to the student. All the
question papers have to be solved and the answers sent to the
university for evaluation.
A M.D.(A.M.)
Certificate and Marksheet is awarded to the successful students by the
Open International University for Alternative Medicines (charter of
Indian Board Of Alternative Medicines).
FEES
The total fees is Rs.12500/- or
US$750.
DOCTOR OF
PHILOSOPHY IN ALTERNATIVE MEDICINES- Ph.D. (A.M.)
ELIGIBILITY
Those who have passed any medical degree course from an authentic
institution.
Or
Those who have completed the M.B.B.S., D.M.S., D.H.M.S., B.A.M.S.,
B.U.M.S., N.D., D.O. etc.
Or
*Practitioners/Research workers with a minmum of 10 years esperience
(minimum basic qualification is exempted).
REQUIREMENT FOR
THE AWARD
Students
of this programme are required to submit an original & authentic
research work (thesis) of at least 300 pages (on A4 paper) on any
subject related to alternative medicine under the guidance of a
competent person or institution after obtaining the prior approval of
the University/ Board.
When complete, the thesis should be submitted for evaluation
following which the Ph.D.(A.M.) is awarded by the Open
International University for Alternative Medicines (charter of Indian
Board Of Alternative Medicines).
DURATION:
One Year.

DOCTOR OF
SCIENCE IN ALTERNATIVE MEDICINES- D.Sc. (A.M.)
ELIGIBILITY
Those who have passed any medical degree course from an authentic
institution.
