STUDY
MATERIAL
Lessons on the specific therapy of each course and on general
medical subjects such as Anatomy, Physiology, Pathology (for the
Diploma Courses of 1 year duration) are sent by air mail.
For the DASM course (2 years duration) lessons on the four
alternative therapies opted for by the student and on general medical
subjects such as Anatomy, Physiology, Pathology, Social & Preventive
Medicine (Hygiene), the Practice of Medicine, Gynaecology & Obstetrics
and Medical Jurisprudence are sent by air mail.
The medium of instruction is English or Hindi.
EXAMINATIONS
The student is allowed a certain amount of time to study the lessons
following which question papers are mailed to the student. All the
question papers have to be solved and the answers sent to the
university for evaluation.
A Diploma and Mark sheet is awarded to the successful
students by the Open International University for Alternative
Medicines (charter of Indian Board Of Alternative Medicines).
BENEFITS OF THE
COURSE
After
completion of the diploma course, one can go for bachelor
certification course or register his/ her name as a
Registered Medical Practitioner (R.M.P.) from Indian Board of
Alternative Medicines under Rule 7(a) and can start practice.
GENERAL

The fees should be sent (by bank draft/cheque) in full along with
Application, xerox copies of one's credentials (academic
qualifications), Three passport size photographs and the filled in
form.(Fee
is non-refundable)
The draft or cheque should be drawn in the name of "Kanniga
Herbal Center"
payable at Katpadi, Tamilnadu,India and sent to the
Kanniga
Herbal Center, Plot
No.64, Rajiv Gandhi Nagar, Katpadi North, Vellore District, Tamilnadu.
